Valentine’s Day Tablescape
Threshold Table Runner (under $10)// Threshold Napkins (on sale)// Lenox Tulip Glasses// Waterford Place Setting
While my husband and I don’t really exchange gifts on Valentine’s Day, we traditionally make it a point to do something even if it’s a casual dinner and a movie. Whether we go out or stay in, the idea is to set aside time from our hectic schedules to be together (sans children), enjoy some food, talk, laugh (my husband cracks me up all the time) and catch up with one another. This year, we’re staying in because we’ve been on the go non-stop lately so it’ll be so nice to pre-plan a dinner, cook together and relax once the kids go to sleep. I love setting a festive table whenever I get the chance so Valentine’s Day will be no exception. Even though I love pink, I don’t think it’s necessary to overdo it when it comes to creating a Valentine’s Day tablescape. Instead, I prefer subtle pops of color via a pretty floral arrangement or votives while keeping my place setting clean and crisp. So, whether you’re cooking for two, hosting a fun brunch or even a girls’ night for all you single ladies, here’s a little tablescape inspo that will surely impress your guests.

I think it’s so important to take the time to catch up and reconnect with each other, especially when you have children. Valentine’s Day is certainly a great time for that. This is such a pretty and elegant tablescape, Kate. The flowers are gorgeous!
