Now that March is right around the corner, I’ve got spring on the brain which means pretty (hopefully) soon, us Northerners will be ditching our puffer coats for lighter layers, fingers crossed!  Since I really can’t stand the sight of my ever growing collection of black turtlenecks any longer, I’m looking to brighten up my wardrobe with clean and crisp winter neutrals instead…definitely the perfect transitional look as the weather gradually warms up, wouldn’t you agree?  These pieces, whether styled together or separately, would seamlessly take me right through spring, particularly this feminine and flattering waterfall trench.  I love it’s softer appearance versus a traditional, more structured trench…so easy and effortless and always versatile.  Did I mention it’s currently on sale?

Speaking of winter neutrals, be sure to head on over to the Splender blog where I’m talking about the Jasmine Chong runway show I attended at NYFW.  Her collection was chock full of neutrals in the form of blazers, tapered pants, blouses and dresses.  I was particularly swooning over a sheer, nude colored blouse as well as an exquisite brown, velvet strapless gown.  This was her first NYFW runway show and she certainly did not disappoint!
