 We are currently on the hunt for a new kitchen table now that the kids are getting older and in need of more space (family dinners with my boys constantly elbowing each other is not my idea of fun).  So, I’ve been keeping my eye out for a farmhouse table that can seat at least six and in a perfect world, perhaps eight for guests.  I love this particular version from Pier One because it seems pretty solid and sturdy…ideal for homework, making cookies, and of course our weekly Sunday dinners.  And how cute is this wooden bench?  I’d put it near our big window and arrange a few of these steel chairs on the opposite side of the table…a “Fixer Upper” inspired  look, don’t you think?  I’m also coveting some rustic pieces to complete this farmhouse kitchen look…especially loving this “Pantry” sign (as if my kids needed a reminder), these planters, and these gingham accent pillows.  I’ll be sure to share some photos once we give this corner of our kitchen a little face lift!
