Apple Spice Cake
I made this apple spice cake a few weeks ago when we were hosting a Sunday dinner and since it was a big hit, I recently decided to recreate it with a healthy twist. So, in lieu of butter, I used unsweetened applesauce, I substituted sugar for a half cup of agave nectar and I opted for gluten free flour. The house smelled divine and of course my kids loved it with a generous scoop of vanilla ice cream. If you’re looking for an easy, tasty and seasonal dessert to bring to Thanksgiving dinner, this cake checks all those boxes. And, if you want to elevate it a tad more, sprinkle some powdered sugar on top as a finishing touch.
You can find more Thanksgiving recipes here, here and here.

I’ve never tried cooking with applesauce, but really need to start because we love sweets here! Looks divine!
