At the Lake…

As much as I love our proximity to the ocean, we have been to the beach pretty much every other day so by this point each summer, I think we’re all itching for a change of scenery.  In a couple of weeks, we’ll be heading up to Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire which will be a refreshing alternative in terms of both setting and pace.  I’m looking forward to waking up to the beautiful views of the mountains and lake, savoring my morning coffee, and just taking our time (such a rarity with four kids).  Since the evenings tend to get chilly, an anorak, long sleeve tees and jeans are an absolute must.  So are comfortable shoes, a roomy tote, and tons of bug spray (they especially love me…not sure why that is).  I’m also loving this sleek and simple navy one piece suit and I always pack a classic chambray top wherever I go because they’re incredibly versatile and seasonless.
