Ballet Inspired Style
Wrap Sweater// Flats// Body Suit// Jeans// Nail Polish// Lip Shine// Tote
I’m having a major ballet moment these days. I don’t know if it’s due to our recent trip to see the Nutcracker or the fact that I watched both seasons of Sarah Jessica Parker’s AOL documentary series about the New York City ballet plus the movie Ballet 422 (I highly recommend both), but I’m suddenly coveting this Diane Von Furstenberg wrap sweater in a serious way. While I’m not wild about tulle skirts unless you’re an actual ballerina or a bride, I would pair this cardigan with these high waisted cropped jeans and these cap toe flats for an easy and chic everyday look. I’m also loving the idea of this sleek and slimming body suit which would go perfectly layered underneath this sweater or your favorite blazer. And although I normally opt for a nude nail, this light pink polish would be the ideal shade to compliment this ensemble. Are you a fan of the wrap sweater? If so, how would you style this look?

I am all about the pastel and pale color inspiration. I just feel so confident when I rock them. I have a hung obsession with ballet flats. I totally need a black cap toe version to add to the collection. (;

I’ve long loved my ballet-inspired flats, but that’s where the trend ended for me. Until now. Wrap sweaters are definitely a new fave. I love how easy they are to wear alone or over a cami. Nice picks!
