Boyfriends are the Best…

Admittedly, I wasn’t crazy about boyfriend jeans when they first came on the scene a few years back.  I tend toward more polished, tailored pieces so when I finally purchased my first pair, I was definitely out of my comfort zone.  They hung in my closet for months, neglected and forgotten.  But, slowly, I began to see the light and once I figured out how to properly style them, they quickly became my go to pair of jeans.  My initial pair were a more narrow fit so as time has gone by and boyfriend jeans are now available in a plethora of washes and styles, my preferences have shifted and I currently favor a baggier, lighter version.  Needless to say, I was beyond thrilled when I discovered this pair by Kut from the Kloth.  They were just the right color and shape…and did I mention that they’re on sale?  I usually pair my jeans with flats and a soft vintage tee when I’m running around all day but I decided to couple them with heels and a blazer for an evening look.  Personally, I think everything looks better with heels, don’t you?  Oh, and boyfriends are the best…especially when they become your husband one day.  The hubs and I are celebrating our 13th wedding anniversary today!  Boy, does time fly….we have practically grown up together!  Four children and lots of craziness later, I can most certainly say he is my best friend!
