Casual Date Night Look

First off, I want to apologize for my absence this week.  It was certainly not my intention to skip three days of blogging.  But, my day to day has been pretty hectic with all the end of the year school events plus non-stop baseball practices and games.  By the time I get home some nights, all I want to do is tuck the kids into bed, take a shower, and watch an episode (or two) of Grand Hotel (completely obsessed…it’s on Netflix and yes, you will love it).  So, now that school is finally out and we’re transitioning to our summer schedule, I’m hopeful I will get my act together and get back to blogging on a regular basis.  For those of you who are loyal readers, thank you for bearing with me as I try to juggle mommyhood, life and blogging…#thestruggleisreal!

Onto this casual date night look, as I mentioned in Monday’s post, I love an easy and effortless combo that can seamlessly segue from a play date to a dinner date.  To elevate this simple tank and jeans, I swapped out my sneakers for these canvas wedges (which are soooo comfortable plus they’re currently on sale), added my go-to boyfriend blazer, replaced my tote with this rattan clutch, and accessorized with a fun tassel necklace.  I also scooped up this tank in black which would look really sharp with a crisp, white blazer and these wedges (I’m always pairing outfits together in my head…do you do that too?).

I hope you enjoy the first official weekend of summer.  We plan on hitting the beach, going to a couple of baseball games, and barbecuing out back.  See you back here on Monday!
