Chambray Shirtdress
Velvet Heart Dress (on sale)// J.Crew Flats (similar under $100)// Target Tote (similar on sale)// Kayce Hughes Cuff (similar under $30)// Target Sunglasses (similar under $20)
I had been on the hunt for the perfect chambray shirtdress so when I found this one for under $40, I was beyond thrilled! It’s the ideal wash, fit and length plus it’s sooo comfortable and versatile….definitely a piece that will be on major rotation all summer! I paired it with my favorite denim flats and a bright straw tote for an easy weekend look but you can easily elevate this dress by styling it with wedge espadrilles and a raffia clutch for a fun night out. Speaking of which, my husband and I celebrated our fifteenth wedding anniversary last week so we decided to try out a tapas place over the weekend. If you live on Long Island, I highly recommend checking it out! It’s called Salumi and the menu is amazing. We shared a Spanish cheese and meats board, warm olives and a roasted cauliflower dish with Greek yogurt. I’m dying to recreate my own board at home the next time we have friends over so I’ll be sure to photograph it to provide you with a little inspo whether you’re entertaining or just enjoying a quiet evening at home. I hope your Monday is off to a great start! I apologize for my absence from the blogoshere lately. It’s been a real challenge juggling my kids’ schedules and trying to blog in the midst of all the craziness. Hopefully, things will slow down a bit in a few weeks and I can dedicate more time to my little corner of the internet.
