Christmas Decor

I’ve been slowly but surely getting our home decked out for the holidays so I thought I’d share some highlights here on the blog.  I prefer to keep our Christmas decor classic, clean, and simple because I’m not a big fan of clutter (just ask my husband and kids).   So, I love lots of rustic touches like galvanized trays and buckets, burlap runners, white birch branches, pine cones, red bows and white lights.  We have an artificial tree in our family room that the kids get to decorate and then we have a fresh tree in our living room that I decorate…#compromises.  I’d still like to hang fresh garland around the doorway from our living room into our kitchen and I’m also thinking about paperwhites in small terracotta pots as a centerpiece for Christmas dinner…I’m actually hosting both Christmas Eve and Christmas and I’ll admit, the thought of both is a tad overwhelming.  Wish me luck!  I’ll link to similar items at the bottom of this post if anything catches your eye plus some additional things I’m coveting!  I hope you have a great weekend.
