Classic Arnold Palmer
Now that the weather has finally warmed up, it’s time for iced tea, lemonade, and naturally, Rose. While I normally save the latter for the weekend, it’s refreshing to serve an alternative to my regular sparkling water with weeknight dinners. So, I decided to combine my two favorite summer drinks and create a classic Arnold Palmer. Making homemade lemonade is a lot easier than you may think and tastes way better than the store bought version. And iced tea simply requires boiling a pot of water and adding about five tea bags…I like Early Grey (let them seep for approximately 10 minutes). After I made both, I let them cool separately in the refrigerator, filled a pitcher with equal amounts of each and garnished with lemon slices. I served these Arnold Palmers with chips and salsa the other afternoon when the kids got home from school and they were absolutely delighted! I would highly recommend making these for your next brunch or barbecue. You can even make this spiked version which I’m sure would be a big hit!

Arnold Palmers are Shawn’s absolute favorites! It’s such a refreshing drink for these warmer months. I am going to have to shoot this one over to him as well for him to try and save 🙂 He’ll be so excited! Hope you’re having a great week! XO

I just pinned this!
My husband love Arnold Palmers, and I have been thinking about lemonade almost every day. I know that sounds kind of random, but I’m reading The Beautiful and Damned and Gloria drinks lemonade nonstop haha. So I think finding this recipe was a sign I need to make some…
I also love what you said about how much better homemade is than store bought. So true! And then you can also control the amount of sugar you put in, which is always a plus 🙂

I love Arnold Palmer’s, but have never really thought of making one myself. I’m going to make a pitcher for a bbq we’re having this weekend – thanks for the idea!

This sounds like the perfect drink for the warm spring days ahead! I love iced tea and lemonade together. I bet the spiked version tastes great, too!
