Admittedly, I own a lot of coats.  But, in my defense (and I hope the hubs is reading), when you live in the northeast (or in the mid-Atlantic…not quite sure where New York fits into this equation), then a wide variety of outerwear is a major necessity.  There are coats for the insanely cold days (anything in the 20’s and below) , the not so bad days (between 30 and 40 degrees), and the mild days (40’s and up).  I won’t even get into the transitional seasons where we face a whole other fashion conundrum.  So, getting back to my original point, a plethora of coats is a must!  This past week, we went from Arctic conditions to spring like temps within a matter of days so I began my week with this puffer coat and ended up with this classic camel version.  I love this coat because it’s not cumbersome, it always look polished, and it goes with everything.  My favorite way to style it is with my go-to jeans, a timeless black turtleneck, and this leopard tote to give this look a little pop.  If I’m running errands with the kids, I throw on loafers or these boots but if I’m looking to elevate this ensemble, them I’ll opt for these wedge boots which are equally chic and comfortable.
