Classic Snickerdoodle Recipe
The weather here in New York has been unseasonably cool and rainy so over the past few days, I’ve been baking up a storm. One of my favorite ways to spend a rainy day is to light a candle, play some music, and try out new recipes (as long as the kids cooperate, of course). So, the other afternoon, I decided to whip up these classic snickerdoodle cookies. My son, Michael, has been requesting these for a while so he was my very first tester and I knew they were a hit once he gave them his stamp of approval. Usually, I tweak recipes to make them a little healthier but this time, I stuck to the script and used real butter and sugar and let me tell you, it was sooooo worth it!
