I am sooo excited for Easter Sunday because not only is Easter my favorite holiday but I’m also looking forward to hosting our family this year and the fact that it will be 80 degrees (#thankyouJesus)! Some years, we are still in our winter clothes so I am beyond thrilled that we will actually be able to wear Easter appropriate attire! So, of course, I’ve been on the hunt for a chic and easy dress that will keep me looking polished and pulled together from morning mass through dinner. I’m still trying to decide between a shift dress or a tie waist. And then there’s the shoe dilemma…wedges or heels? I’m leaning more toward a wedge because I’ll be on my feet most of the day. But, how amazing are those cork heels? I’m been coveting them for quite some time. I’m also lusting after this charming yellow clutch which is such a steal (fyi: it comes in three colors).
I also want to remind you about the Beautycounter promotion I’m running. When you purchase any item from my Beautycounter site during the month of April, you will be eligible to win this body set. Be sure to check out my post about Beautycounter to understand more about the company and why I’m so passionate about using safe beauty products. Have a great day!

Loving ALL of these looks! It’s just my husband and I and my two brothers, so dressing up is never a thing, but I can’t wait until the day when I can go full out with an Easter look! I hope you have a great weekend & Easter! 80 degrees will be amazing! Enjoy!

These are all great outfit ideas for Easter. But I’m loving that yellow dress–and would definitely opt for wedges. Hope you have a lovely Easter weekend!

Eek! I am so glad Easter is warmer this year so we can break out the cute clothes! Also, some kid-friendly DC places you might enjoy!
– Ted’s Bulletin has a location in Capitol Hill and on 14th Street. Family friendly place with the best homemade pop tarts! They also have a good dinner menu.
– Orange Anchor on the Georgetown Waterfront is so fun and would be a good place for brunch / lunch with the family. It’s right on the water and there’s a huge park right there to let the kids run around. You and Lara would love all the shopping on M Street and if you need a snack, Dean & Deluca is a great option!
– Pro-tip – the Lincoln Memorial has bathrooms under it in case you’re outside and in need ;]
– Nationals games are cheap! Definitely worth checking out if y’all are baseball fans!
I’ll keep thinking of ideas for you!
