Prior to the “blizzard,” we enjoyed a quiet Sunday afternoon roaming the grounds of the Planting Fields Arboretum in Oyster Bay.  Typically, we visit this vast and beautiful park during the spring and summer months when everything is in full bloom (last seen here and here).  But, considering that we were enjoying milder temps over the weekend, a peaceful walk with a hot cocoa in my hand was an ideal way to stretch my legs and venture outdoors.  Of course, water proof boots were a must so I slipped on my go-to wellies, these gray Hunter boots I purchased a few years back.  Initially, I wondered how much I would use them and I balked at the idea of splurging on rain boots.  Needless to say, these timeless and classic boots are on major rotation all year long.  Not only are they incredibly comfortable but I love the gray hue because they go with just about everything.
