So, yesterday finally felt like fall here in New York. The temps took a major dip and for the first time in what seems like forever, I was craving soup and warm bread and lots of other comfort food. And then of course it got me thinking about fall decor and how I need to switch things up in my home starting with the wreath on my front door. Isn’t this one so festive and fall-esque? I love the warm colors and the simple design. And while I’m not that much into flavored coffee, this pumpkin spice version does sound pretty delicious…just imagine how warm and inviting your house would smell coupled with this pumpkin chai candle. And while you’re at it, you might as well wrap yourself up in this cozy plaid throw and sit by the fire. I bought my husband a fire pit for his birthday a few years ago and it really is the gift that keeps on giving. I love sitting outside by the fire with a glass of wine on a Saturday night after the kids are in bed…pure heaven. I hope you have a fun weekend planned. We’re supposed to head out to Fire Island but it seems like this hurricane is heading our way so it just may be a movie marathon and cooking weekend which wouldn’t be so bad, right?
