Last Minute Father’s Day Gifts
Coffee Maker and Mug// Flask// Grill Book// Grill Set// Watch// Golf Shirt// Sunglasses// Baseball Cap// Weekender Bag
I should start by saying that Father’s Day is a bit of a sad day for me. I lost my dad nearly twenty years ago very suddenly and not a day goes by that I don’t miss him terribly. He was the most gentle, selfless, kind, and hard working person I’ve ever known. My brothers and I all respected him greatly and as adults, we each try to emulate him in our own ways. I hesitated sharing this very personal part of my life here on the blog, but I can’t mention Father’s Day without acknowledging my dad who was and forever will be my hero.
Although Father’s Day reminds me of my loss, it is uplifting to be able to celebrate my husband on this special day! My husband is pretty easy to please. Just hand him a great cup of coffee (he loves a Kona blend), a flask, or a grill set, and he’s in heaven (oh, and Yankees tickets). Some other items I think he would put to good use are a pair of aviators, a striped golf shirt, a classic watch and this timeless leather weekender.
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend celebrating with the ones you love. After this past week’s tragic events, I know I’ll be hugging my husband and kids a little tighter. XO
