Mother’s Day Gift Guide

Considering that Mother’s Day is right around the corner, I’ve compiled a list of things I’ve had my eye on lately.  Lucky for me, my mom and I have similar tastes so usually if I like something, chances are she will appreciate it as well.  We both share a love of cooking and entertaining so this Giada cook book would definitely be a winner.  We also both enjoy a chilled glass of Rose, especially this time of year and this version sounds pretty appealing.  A beautiful bouquet of fresh flowers delivered to my door is always a welcome treat (my mom has a gorgeous peony bush that blooms every June and she always cuts them and arranges them in vases around her house…they smell absolutely divine).  Since we’re both always cold, cashmere slippers and a classic striped scarf are ideal staples.  And how amazing does this Tata Harper daily essentials kit sound?  I’ve been dying to try out her line and this seems like the perfect introduction.  Of course, you can never go wrong with simple and chic earring like these Kate Spade ones and how charming is this lettuce candle from Tory Burch?  The scent is a combination of jasmine, gardenia and pink pepper…sounds heavenly if you ask me.
