My Nightstand Essentials
Palm Print Pillows (similar here and here)// Vase// Ring Holder// Lamp (similar)// Silver Frame (similar)//RMS Cream// c/o Strivectin Eye Cream
I’m always curious what other people carry in their handbag, what’s in their medicine cabinet, and what’s on their nightstand. It’s not that I’m nosy (okay, maybe a little) but truthfully, I want to know what products they’re using and whether I’m missing out on the latest and greatest. So, in the spirit of sharing, I figured I should discuss my nightstand essentials. I have a little ritual before bed as I’m sure most of you do. I begin by brushing my teeth and washing my face with this cleanser, using apple cider vinegar as a toner (crazy, perhaps, but it really does work wonders), using this night cream, and then this Strivectin eye cream. I keep it next to my bed because it’s the best way to remember to apply it each night. I’ve been using it for about a month now and I must say, despite my lack of sleep, I have no dark circles, puffiness or wrinkles so it certainly has checked all my boxes! I also keep this RMS coconut cream on my nightstand which I use on my hands and elbows since they seem to be perpetually dry (fyi: this coconut cream is also ideal for removing eye make-up). What’s not pictured are my very unglamorous eye drops (I have very dry eyes), my lip balm, and a glass of water.
From a decorative perspective, I love fresh flowers in a pretty vase (I scored this one at Target for under $6…don’t you love the Cartwheel app?), a framed photo of my family (this one was taken in Hilton Head a few years ago is and is my absolute favorite), and this Waterford ring holder which was a gift from my mother in law when we got engaged. What are your nightstand essentials?

Love your nightstand! My essentials are some hand cream (usually L’Occitane), chapstick, a carafe of water, and a good book.

I am the exact same. I always want to make sure I am up on the latest and greatest game. First, I love your great bedding. You know I love mixed prints so I am quickly falling in love with this combo. For the apple cider vinegar, do you add water at all or just apply straight to your face? I love ACV, but have never thought to use it as a toner and I am so excited to hear you really like it. In that case, do you cleanser, apply the toner and them moisturizer? I am so excited to hear more! 🙂 XO

Hi Anna. I use the ACV without diluting it (I put a few drops on a cotton ball) but it does make my eyes water so you can dilute it with water if you prefer. If you have sensitive skin, then mix 1 part apple cider vinegar with 4 parts water, for normal skin it’s 1 part apple cider vinegar with 2 parts water and for oily skin you can mix 1 part apple cider vinegar with 1 part water. I cleanse first, then tone, and then put on moisturizer (by the way, coconut oil is a great facial moisturizer…it’s loaded with Vitamin E that helps the growth and repair of skin cells). Have a great weekend!

That Strivectin product sounds great! My nightstand consists of lip balm, hand cream, and usually my iPhone (which I swore I was going to remove from the bedroom in 2016). Hope you have a great weekend!
