There is a definite crispness in the air, particularly early in the morning and as the sun sets each evening.  This, to me, is the first sign of fall…the smell, the lighting, and those subtle changes in temperature.  I also know fall is around the corner when I begin to wear long sleeves.  I bought this striped shift dress back in the spring but due to our very chilly April and May, I never had the opportunity to wear it.  From there, we morphed straight into summer and then it always seemed too hot to don heavy cotton and long sleeves.  So, the other night as the temperatures began to dip, I threw this piece on with my favorite sandals to take a stroll down by the water.  I was perfectly comfortable as I simultaneously  enjoyed my iced latte and mourned the last official week of summer.
