Saturday morning we woke up to crisp fall air and bright blue skies.  So, of course, we had to take full advantage and head down to the beach for a stroll on the boardwalk.  The weather couldn’t have been more ideal!  It was warm in the sun but there was a cool breeze so a light button down, my favorite white jeans, and these ankle boots were the perfect pieces for these transitional temps.  And let’s talk about this rattan handbag from Purse for the People!  If you’re not familiar with this environmentally conscious handbag company, they are a social enterprise committed to creating one of a kind eco-friendly products assembled here in the USA.  I was particularly drawn to this Aspen rattan handbag because I love the bamboo handle, the detachable strap, and the chic, structured shape.  Plus, the red trim makes this bag a fun accessory to compliment my collection of plaid button downs which I’ve recently resurrected now that it’s finally starting to feel like fall!
