Whenever I’m experiencing a fashion conundrum, there are a few items in my closet that I can always turn to.  They’re the pieces that are timeless, effortless and most importantly, comfortable.  This sweater is definitely on the top of that list.  It was an impulse purchase last fall when I needed something functional yet stylish to wear to a business meeting.  That day, I wore it with a black blazer, skinny black ankle pants and black pumps.  Ever since, I’ve paired it with just about everything….denim, a black pencil skirt, and most recently, shorts.  A few days ago, I coupled it with my favorite white toothpick jeans for a casual night out.  It was the perfect ensemble for a mild spring evening…soft, simple and easy.
