The past few weeks, I’ve noticed a subtle dip in the temperature at night.  There’s a slight chill in the air…enough so that a light sweater or a pair of jeans is definitely necessary.  So, this past weekend, I simply swapped these shorts for these jeans to enjoy a glass of wine out on our deck.  Initially, I hesitated at the thought of even thinking about purchasing a pair of white jeans with four children (three of them being boys!) but I must say, I wear these a lot (last seen here, here and here).  I’m not advocating wearing them to the park or to a kids’ birthday party but they’re perfect for a date night or a casual (adult) party when I want to feel polished and pulled together.  Inspired by this classic look, I kept things simple and timeless with a basic black tee and my go-to Jack Rogers sandals.  This roomy green straw tote has been on heavy rotation all summer.  It’s ideal for the beach or just running around town and the neon hue adds a fun punch of color!
