Taking a Break…

After a crazy month filled with work, school, and a plethora of social commitments, I’m relieved that by this afternoon, our holiday vacation will officially begin. I’m looking forward to hosting our annual Christmas Eve dinner with my side of the family and our close friends….all my favorite people in our home celebrating with good food and lots of wine.  Yes, please!  And then we’re off to Hilton Head for a week where all we plan to do is ride bikes, kayak, play tennis and my husband will squeeze in some golf, of course!  I’m also hoping to get down to Savannah for the day because it’s so beautifully decorated this time of the year (be sure to follow along on Instagram and Snapchat @taffetatulips).  So, I’m taking a little break from Taffeta & Tulips until 2016 where I’ll be back hopefully refreshed and renewed and ready to tackle the new year.

I’m leaving you with my favorite photo from 2015 which I spontaneously took at the beach over the summer.  It was one of those moments where I wish I could have frozen time.  My heart melts every time I look at it…these four….they drive me crazy at times but boy, do I love them.  I’m so grateful I get to be their mom.  I hope you have a wonderful holiday celebrating with the ones you love.  See you next year!
