The Lob
So….I’m in major need of a fresh cut and color. After a summer spent alternating between the beach and the pool with the kids, my locks have been seriously neglected. My go-to hair style these days is pulling my damp hair into a low bun and then mid-way through the day, I shake it out and spritz this sea salt spray on it and pray it looks semi decent. Of course, when all else fails, there’s always my trusty panama hat….and over-sized sunglasses. Once my youngest goes off to school next week, I’ll have my mornings free for the first time in months (picture me doing cartwheels). I have so many things to check off my to-do list starting with dusting off my blog and refocusing my time and energy into T&T, getting back into my exercise routine and addressing my not so glamorous hair (will definitely be calling Dave asap). I’m not quite sure what I’m going to do with it so I’ve been pinning ideas and realized I have a lot of lobs on my beauty board. Since my length is pretty much there, I’m thinking of perhaps growing it a tad longer and maybe going a little darker for fall. Thoughts? Any one else loving the lob as much as me? What’s your favorite hairstyle these days?

OMG I SO ENJOYED READING THIS #mademynight
Truth is, every artist needs a good muse – so the fact that your hairs are amazing is just icing on the cake! #glammin

I so dig the LOB but don’t think I could pull it off :(. I’m too scared to have short hair!

I think you should go for it! I love Jennifer’s (I think that’s her in the first pic??) length and color. There’s so much interest to it!

I’ve always loved this length. It’s the one I go back to (at least mentally) every single time I need a change. It would certainly look lovely on you, and going a little darker could also be a fun change of pace.

I’m facing the same dilemma. Over a year ago I took about 1o inches off and donated it. Now, it has grown back and I’m not sure what to do. I’ve always wanted to go chin length once the cooler temps hit, but when I get into that chair I chicken out. I’ll be doing something with my hair soon, just not sure what. I really like the look of the lob and think your hair would look great with that cut.
Enjoy the long weekend!

I loooove Michaela’s (second photo) length – I think that’s the exact picture I took to my hairdresser last fall when I wanted to chop off several inches. My hair looks so much thicker now that it’s all one length!

I think you’d look great with a lob style! I personally love the blonde look, but think you could rock darker locks as well! xo, Biana –BlovedBoston
