Mid Length Romper
Katherine Barclay Romper (similar here, here and here)// Aerosoles Wedges (similar here and here) // Straw Tote, old (similar here and here) // Kayce Hughes Cuff (similar here and here)
While I’m all about the “one and done” concept behind a romper, I’ve been hesitant to fully embrace this trend because most of them tend to run really short. This style looks great on someone in their twenties with long legs but as a mom of four who’s definitely not a spring chicken, I’d feel pretty ridiculous running around town in that kind of get up. So, when I spotted this navy and white floral mid length romper by Katherine Barclay, I was thrilled to find an age appropriate version that would take me right through the summer. I wore this piece to my daughter’s eighth grade graduation (gulp) with these canvas wedges and this satchel but for a more casual look, I’m also loving this romper styled with cork wedges or these Jack Rogers sandals and a natural straw tote.
On a side note, Kayce Hughes is currently having a major sale! She’s closing her doors in just a few days so now is the time to scoop up some great, classic pieces for a fraction of the original cost. I’m a big fan of her jewelry collection which is where I scored this chunky wood cuff (here’s a similar style). I also have my eye on this nautical shirt dress and this floral shift dress.

Girl, you look better than me and I have ZERO children! But I totally understand – as I get older, I definitely am not into exposing my body as I once was. We have to stay classy! This romper is the perfect length! Love those shoes, too!

Love how this romper is a little bit longer for those who wan’t to wear the style but don’t feel like wearing super short shorts! Also this print is fantastic!

I agree, some rompers are way too short and as someone who is 5’11” I have a hard time finding rompers that fit well. This one looks like a total win, lobe the print and the color!!

I love rompers, but agree that sometimes they can be too short. The one you scooped up is perfect — and I’m sure it is a piece that you will want to throw on and go all summer long! Great find!

So often rompers are just too short and this one is so perfect and doesn’t ride up in the wrong places! Love the pattern! xo, Biana –BlovedBoston
