Baked Caprese Salad
As much as I enjoy hosting several gatherings at our home throughout the holiday season, it can become a bit overwhelming when I’m trying to cook for a large number of guests. So, I prefer to keep the dishes we serve as easy and simple as possible while still aiming to wow our friends and family. One go-to appetizer that is always a fuss-free crowd pleaser are these baked caprese salads. They require five basic ingredients, very little assembly, and are ready in no time. If you like fresh mozzarella, basil, tomato and bread (and really, who doesn’t) then these are definitely worth making. I made a batch over the weekend and the six of us inhaled them immediately.
