Cocoa Fudge Cookies
Yesterday, due to the the ominous forecast, I ran all my errands in the morning, scooped up the kids from school, and then hunkered down for an afternoon of movies, baking and a quick jaunt out in the snow. I was craving something gooey and chocolate so after some investigating, I came upon this recipe for cocoa fudge cookies. Let me just say, these cookies did not disappoint. They are the perfect balance between crispy on the outside and chewy and fudgy on the inside. My daughter described them as “brownie cookies” and I could not agree more. Of course, the only thing that could suitably accompany these little treasures was a tall, frosty glass of milk. And yes, there was dunking involved…

I’ve been trying to stay away from sugar (which is always a struggle for me)…and I can feel my willpower fading. These cookies look AMAZING!!!
