Cold Weather Essentials
Naturally, the kids were off from school yesterday so we slept in, enjoyed a late breakfast (I’ll be sharing that recipe next week), and then headed over to the elementary school grounds for an impromptu get together. One of my friends organized a snowman building “party” complete with treats, a hot cocoa station and snowman supplies…so charming, right? It was 22 degrees outside and I was adequately bundled in my favorite puffer coat , my new snow boots (with toe warmers…thank you for the suggestion Biana!), and two pairs of gloves. Having said that, after 45 minutes, I was more than ready to return to my car and get my seat warmer going asap! So, it got me thinking…what cold weather essentials would be ideal for an afternoon spent playing in the snow? Here are a few items currently on my cold weather wish list, particularly these Sorel boots and this incredibly cozy looking Canada Goose parka. Tell me, what cold weather essentials are you coveting?

Cuuute!
I like the hat and the boots the most… and am now interested in that Kiehl’s lip balm! I can’t go a moment without something moisturizing on my lips. Totally into EOS at the moment. Love the Shea Butter (pink & stripey) one!

For me, I need a scarf for sure in cold weather no matter how big my jacket is!

Great picks! I love the parka and hat. I refuse to venture out in the snow without quality socks and waterproof boots. My toes will go numb instantly without!

After being an equestrian, and a figure skater before that, I’ve got cold weather wear covered. I live in Under Armour, have at least two pairs of layers on at all times, and don’t leave home without feet and hand warmers in my socks and gloves.
Stay warm!

I 100% agree with the lip balm. My lips get so chapped the instant the temp hits 55 degrees!

There’s only one thing missing — a hot cup of coffee to keep those hands warm! Lol! The gloves work too, though!

These are such crucial cold weather essentials. I don’t own a pair of snow boots but I desperately need a pair!

I do not do so well in the cold, so my essentials would be pajamas, but those socks and hat are too cute! The snowman party is such a cute idea!

The perfect cold weather list for this maddening storm we just had. I love, love, love those socks and can’t live without my Canadian Goose down jacket.
