I’m a little out of sorts this week because a stomach bug made its’ way into our home and I’ve been playing nurse and chief disinfector (not even sure that’s an actual word but you get the point…bleach and rubber gloves are on me at all times).  So, my schedule has been turned on its’ head as well as my usual weekly posts.  But, I did manage to dig up these photos we took a few weeks ago on one of those glorious warm fall days.  Truth be told, I was actually a bit hot in my turtleneck and scarf that afternoon but I was determined to blend in with the vibrant scenery for our stroll through the park.  These days, I can’t imagine leaving the house in just a vest unless I was hopping right into my car.  This past week has been dreary, cold and wet so I’m hoping we’ll get some snow soon to perk things up and compliment all the festive lights and decorations in our neighborhood.  Plus, I need an excuse to break out my new snow boots!
