Dressing Up Denim

While I feel most relaxed in my daily uniform of vintage tees, denim shorts and flip flops, I like to break out of the mold sometimes and dress things up a bit.  This black silk blouse is one of those pieces in my closet that I find myself reaching for time and again.  No matter what I style it with (last seen here and here), I always feel polished and pulled together.  Paired with my favorite wedges (these are so versatile and  ridiculously comfortable) and my new mint clutch, I felt rejuvenated after a day at the park with the kids.  Although I love my role as a mom, it feels good to shed the ice cream stained tee, dab on some lipstick and work on getting my groove back!
