Falling for Red…

One of the best things about transitioning from one season to the next is rediscovering items in your closet you may have overlooked.  As much as I love my daily uniform of denim and easy button downs, it’s fun to switch things up now and then, which is why I was delighted to find these red cords (last seen here) the other day.  While the weather is still mild, I’ll be wearing these with flats and sweaters for running errands or with this silk blouse and heels for an evening out.  And, once the temperatures really begin to drop, I can tuck them into my favorite pair of riding boots and pair them with a cozy cashmere turtleneck.  Of course, red and leopard are a classic and timeless duo so this calf hair belt has been on heavy rotation.  Although I’m thinking next time, I may swap out the belt for my new heels….decisions, decisions.
