Well Red

I don’t know about you but red is one of my favorites hues for fall.  A little goes a long way so I generally stick to one piece at a time.  This exquisite belted coat is the ultimate cold weather staple, wouldn’t you agree?  I could picture myself styling this version with a monochromatic black ensemble accompanied by a chic leopard heel.  Speaking of heels, how charming are these plaid kitten heel pumps?  They are so versatile and classic…dress them up with black cropped trousers and a silk blouse or pair them down with denim and a blazer…you just can’t go wrong.  Another must have item for cooler temps are warm and cozy cashmere gloves.  I love this elongated style especially for coupling with a bracelet sleeved coat.  And every woman needs a polished, structured tote…this one by Brooks Brothers is stylish and functional…perfect for work or for weekends.  Of course, a red lipstick is perpetually sophisticated and instantly elevates any look.  This YSL one is my current go-to shade for an evening out.  A fun and youthful iPhone case makes the perfect accessory as well as this timeless “I Love NY” mug (wouldn’t this make an ideal stocking stuffer?).  And no home is complete without a beautiful arrangement of fresh flowers (currently crushing on red peonies) and a lovely scented candle.  Are you craving all things red?  If so, what are your favorite picks for the season?
