Golden Hour

As the days keep getting shorter, I’m finding more and more it’s a challenge to get my photos taken during the golden hour…you know, that exact time each evening before the sun sets when the lighting is ideal.  We ran into a slight snafu the other week when we were trying to capture these images because as the sun was rapidly setting and we were losing light, we were trying to take these pictures in the middle of the road.  As you can only imagine, cars zipping around the bend can pose a bit of a problem so we were interrupted quite a bit (it actually was pretty funny and I snapped the whole experience…fyi, I’m now on snapchat @taffetatulips).  So, I apologize for the not so clear photos (#bloggerproblems) but we’ve all been there.  And speaking of snapchat, I’m completely hooked!  If anyone has any suggestions for people I need to follow (including yourself), do tell!   I’m actually pretty proud of myself being the technological dinosaur that I am for figuring out snapchat (of course not without my daughter’s help #truth).
