My fall wish list is very long but after I beam back down to Earth and remember that I don’t technically need anything, I know I must stick to the basics and they have to be affordable (#momlife).  So, the way I typically shop is I set a price point for myself and wait for certain items to go on sale, which most of them eventually do (remember…patience is a virtue).  Then, I make a list of things I know I will wear on a regular basis and are able to be mixed and matched in different ways.  Versatility, style and function are my three main criteria.  For instance, this pinstripe scarf which doubles as a cape (genius) would be perfect for running errands but also would look effortlessly chic paired with a skirt and boots for dinner and drinks.  The same goes for these pointed toe loafers.  I would wear these with toothpick jeans and a sweater for day or slim black pants and a blazer for evening.  And can we talk about this DVF cross body bag?  It can be worn with the strap when I’m running around with my kids or used as a clutch for a fun night out.  While I’m loving my oversize Target sunglasses, I feel like it’s finally time to mix it up and I’m absolutely coveting these cat-eye ones from Le Specs.  The right pair of sunglasses make any look instantly polished and pulled together, wouldn’t you say?  The great news is all of these fall finds are currently under $100 and I’ve listed more favorites below!
