Watermelon Slushies

What’s more refreshing than a cold slice of watermelon on a hot summer’s day?  Seriously, I can’t think of anything that can top this sweet and tasty treat.  Since I’ve been buying watermelons like they’re going out of style, I decided to take things to the next level one afternoon last week and whip up these watermelon slushies.  I was initially dubious regarding the addition of the banana but I must say, that added with the fresh lime juice gives this ice cold drink a nice, tropical twist.  I couldn’t decide which garnish I like better…a slice of watermelon or a wedge of lime?  So, I opted for both with these charming polka dot straws.  (Pssst…the adult version would be sooo good with a few shots of vodka or tequila…thoughts?)
