Chocolate Chunk Blondies

I’m not a fancy dessert person.  If you put a warm, gooey chocolate chip cookie (my favorite recipe last seen here) in front of me accompanied by a tall, frosty glass of milk, I am completely content.  The same goes for a fudgy, homemade brownie….all I need is a mere dusting of powdered sugar and I am one happy customer.  So, when I spotted this recipe for chocolate chunk blondies a few months back, I knew this would be a big hit.  My daughter calls them “brookies” (brownie plus a cookie….it took me a moment to translate) but whatever you wish to call them, they are dangerously delicious!  It’s impossible to stop at just one…consider yourself warned.  I know it’s bathing suit season and I probably shouldn’t be posting such tempting and irresistible treats but it is also time for barbecues and if you whip this up and bring this with you, you will be a bona fide star!
