Corduroy Jacket
DKNY Jacket, old (similar here and here)// Merona Top (similar here and here)// Old Navy Jeans// J.Crew Flats// J.Crew Belt (similar)// Just Campagne Bag (similar splurge, save and steal)// Target Sunglasses
Although we experienced a few chillier than normal days last week, by the time the weekend rolled around, we were back to enjoying mild temps so I ditched the sweaters and boots and replaced them with light layers and my favorite flats. Isn’t it great when you rediscover items in your closet you completely forgot about? That’s what happened when I spotted this corduroy jacket which I’ve had forever (it actually comes with the cutest detachable faux fur collar so I’ll have to style it again with a more polished look next time). As you may have noticed, my love of easy button downs is never ending so I opted for this classic gingham version and these incredibly comfortable ankle jeans (fyi…they’re currently on sale!). I hope your Monday is off to a good start. Is anyone else excited for Halloween? I cannot wait for the weekend. I love taking my kids trick or treating, tucking them into bed, and then raiding (just kidding) their candy buckets while watching Halloween. What are your plans for Halloween?

Could not agree more! Finding an item in my closet that I once loved is the best, and man does this jacket look great on you! I am also a sucker for d’orsay flats, so I am loving those J Crew ones you have on!
Halloween is absolutely more fun when there are kids in the house! My apartment building does not get trick or treaters, but I really want to go home and watch all the little guys in my neighborhood.

This look is perfect for fall and the mild temps we just enjoyed. That jacket looks great on you and I’m loving the olive color with that bright belt.
