Mother’s Day Gift Ideas

Are you a last minute shopper like me? If so, then you’re probably still looking for the perfect Mother’s Day gift. When I’m searching for gifts, I try to find items that are a balance between stylish and functional. So, I opt for pieces that are practical but are still special and unique. Of course, I always include a gift receipt just in case! And remember, if you’re really stuck, a beautiful bouquet of flowers, a gift card to a favorite store, or a photo in a lovely frame are safe alternatives.
- Jo Malone Orange Blossom Perfume: My husband bought me this perfume for Christmas and I receive so many compliments on it. It’s not over powering at all; just a light, subtle scent that’s perfect for everyday. It also comes in a candle and a body lotion.
- Striped Tunic: I love this classic striped top. It’s so versatile whether it’s paired with white jeans, denim shorts, or a navy skirt. It’s crisp and clean and such a timeless staple. You can’t go wrong with this choice!
- MZ Wallace Tote: I’ve been coveting this quilted tote for quite some time. I can’t decide if I want a solid one or this color block option. It’s the ideal mom bag because it’s lightweight, roomy, and packable. Plus, it has a plethora of pockets and a removable zip top pouch.
- Gold Drop Earrings: Lately, I’ve been really into statement earrings (last seen here). They easily elevate any look whether you’re wearing jeans and a tee or you’re glamming it up for a fun night out. I especially love this neutral pair that will go with everything (they also come in silver).
- Magnolia Table Cook Book: If you don’t know by now, I’m a huge fan of Chip and Jojo. So, naturally, I was thrilled to learn that they were coming out with a cookbook! My mom is also a Fixer Upper fanatic so I know she would appreciate this book as much as I would. We are both dying to visit the Silos and eat at their new restaurant in Waco. I’m definitely feeling a girls’ trip is in order…
- Linen Scarf: No matter what time of year, I’m always a bit chilly. And the first thing I reach for is a scarf to wrap around my shoulders or neck. Whether worn with a lightweight jacket, as a shawl over a dress, or paired with a simple, white tee, you can’t go wrong with this option. Did I mention it comes in seven colors and is only $35?
