Safari

Safari style is one of my all time favorite looks.  It’s simple, chic and effortless but above all, it’s timeless.  I love the neutral tones especially when  paired with bold pops of color like a vibrant orange or a citrus green.  However, what draws me to this genre the most is the laid back mix of textures, prints and details such as the utilitarian vibe and the jungle motif.  There’s something so simple yet polished about safari style that it’s a look I see myself turning to time and again.  So, here’s a little something to get you inspired.  Personally, I’m wild (no pun intended) about these calf hair wedges from J.Crew and these easy and versatile cargo shorts from Calypso.  Whether you see yourself as on an actual safari adventure or just pounding the pavement  in the concrete jungle, which pieces would be on your wish list?
