Although I love seasonal trends (currently enamored with citrus prints), I also appreciate the classic items in my closet that I can rely upon year after year.  This Lacoste shirt is definitely at the top of that list.  It’s versatile, timeless and incredibly comfortable.  Whenever in doubt, all I need to do is pair this top with a crisp pair of white jeans and my favorite Jack Rogers sandals and I’m ready to go.  This past weekend, upon returning from Fire Island, we were all a bit sunburned and tuckered out.  So, after a laid back barbecue, we headed down to the beach to catch the sunset.  I grabbed my new panama hat on the way out the door and was so glad I did….it turned out there was a slight breeze down by the water.  With the temperatures taking a slight dip, these toothpick jeans were the perfect solution.  As we drove over the bridge on our way home, the sky was a breathtaking combination of pink and orange.  We could see the Manhattan skyline off in the distance and I thought to myself, I truly am lucky to live in such a beautiful place.
