Recently, I realized my wardrobe was missing a pair of cropped wool trousers. So, when I spotted this pair on sale, I was thrilled to discover they had my size (side note: I find Topshop to run on the smaller side so I went one size up). They go perfectly with a cozy cashmere sweater and boots for chilly days as well as a simple silk blouse and heels once the weather warms up. I’m partial to a gray on gray look so I threw on this boucle jacket…it’s not too heavy and I love the shorter length….the ideal piece as we gradually move towards spring.

Houston, why couldn’t you stay cooler for just a wee bit longer? I could’ve then oh so easily justify purchasing a pair of those AMAZING cropped pants 🙂

I love those pants Kate! My work attire has been in a bit of a rut lately, I think some printed wool trousers would be the perfect way to spice it up a bit 🙂
