All the Skin Care Products I’m Currently Loving

Leven Rose Rosehip Oil: I am such a devoted fan of this face oil that I recommend it to all my friends. Not only is it a steal for under $20, it’s highly effective. Ever since I turned forty, face oils have been my skin’s saving grace because they hydrate, boost collagen formation, and help to reduce fine lines. I especially love roseship oil because it helps to reduce inflammation while simultaneously exfoliating and brightening skin. I simply massage a few drops onto my face every morning and evening after washing and toning.

Honest Face Wash: This gentle face wash doesn’t strip your skin and leave it feeling dry. Instead, it’s infused with chamomile and calendula extracts to calm and refresh. I use it morning and night and use this Honest face mask once a week to keep my complexion soft and clear.

Thayers Face Toner: This affordable face toner is alcohol free so it doesn’t strip your skin and leave it feeing tight like most toners. Instead, it’s formulated to hydrate, soothe, and balance the skin’s ph levels. I use it every morning and evening directly after washing my face.

Triple Effect Eye Cream: Another must have for us women in our forties is a potent eye cream. Retinol tends to bother my sensitive skin so I was thrilled to discover this gentle three in one cream that helps to combat fine lines, wrinkles, and puffiness. In addition, it’s super hydrating so it gives the skin around your eyes a tighter, more youthful appearance.

Murad Rapid Relief Spot Treatment: This spot treatment is hands down my favorite product for pesky blemishes. I simply apply a tiny amount to the effected area at night after washing and moisturizing and by morning, it’s pretty much gone. It’s a bit pricey but worth every cent because a little goes a long way.

Dry Brush: I’m a huge fan of the dry brush to help fight off the appearance of cellulite. Dry brushing increases circulation which in turn causes vasodilation (the widening of capillaries causing an increase in blood flow to the problem area). Other benefits of dry brushing besides combatting cellulite are the unclogging of pores and promoting lymphatic flow/drainage. I use my dry brush on a daily basis right after I shower and towel off.

Weleda Cellulite Oil: This oil smells so good but not in an overpowering way. It has a light, refreshing scent infused with grapefruit and cypress oils. I simply massage it into my skin after I dry brush and it leaves my skin soft, smooth, and toned. Plus, it’s a steal for $20.

Chocolate Sun Self Tanner: I cannot say enough good things about this brand of self tanner. It’s incredibly hydrating, leaves a beautiful golden glow (not orange and sticky), does not streak, and it doesn’t smell like chemicals. Plus, all Chocolate Sun products are formulated without: Mineral Oils, Dyes, Lanolin, Parabens, PABA, Alcohol, Petrochemicals, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, + Formaldehyde. Safe, effective, and leaves your skin looking naturally golden. It comes in three shades: Enhance, Medium, and Absolute.

Vita Liberata Body Blur: I love this lightweight cream to even out slight imperfections on my legs to give off a flawless appearance. I simply dab it on sun spots or freckles after I apply self tanner.
