Currently Coveting for Spring

Earrings// Mules// Jeans// Lip Shine// Bag// Perfume// Sunglasses// Tee Shirt

Now that the weather has warmed up, I’m itching to give my closet a mini make-over by swapping out some tired pieces and replacing  them with these fresh looks for spring.  While I love to infuse a little color into my outfits with bold, bright earrings or a fun bag, I typically stick to neutrals for my everyday style.  It makes it a lot easier to get dressed plus these pieces are incredibly versatile so they can be effortlessly mixed and matched.  I tend to gravitate toward items that I can picture myself wearing in a variety of ways and to a number of places.  But most importantly, I have to feel good in them because confidence is always your best accessory!

  1. Tortoise Earrings:  J.Crew has a great collection of statement earrings for very reasonable prices.  Whether you’re looking for a gift or treating yourself, there are a plethora of options.  Earrings are an easy way to elevate a neutral look, especially when paired with a simple bun and a fun lip color.  I rarely blow dry my hair this time of year so I pull it back into a damp bun, add some statement earrings, a little bronzer, a touch of lip gloss and I’m good to go.
  2. Woven Mules:  Woven mules are having a moment and I’m absolutely loving this trend.  Whether worn with shorts, a skirt, jeans or a casual dress, these mules are the perfect combo of carefree and chic.  My favorite two ways to style them are with a classic white button down, denim shorts and a straw bag or with a tee, jeans and a blazer.
  3. Stretch Skinny Jeans:  I’m super picky about my jeans so they have to be just the right fit and wash and these jeans check both boxes.  I love the color, the high waist, and the slim fit.  Plus, they look very comfy and flattering. And the best part is that they’re under $110!
  4. RMS Lip Shine:   I’m currently on the hunt for a summer lip shine so when I spotted this one , I decided I want to give it a try.  I love the subtle color which will look perfect with sun kissed skin.  I also use the RMS living luminizer everyday on my cheekbones, the bridge of my nose, and my eye lids for a hint of shimmer.
  5. Le Labo Rose Perfume:  I first discovered La Labo products when we stayed at the Fairmont in Washington DC and was instantly hooked.  I brought home all the complimentary products which included the rose scented soap, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner as well as the body lotion.  I cannot even begin to explain how amazing this stuff smells!!  So, I was thrilled to discover that they also have a perfume and a body oil in this scent.
  6. Aviators:  While I love my go-to everyday sunglasses, it’s fun to switch it up a bit so I’m definitely going to scoop up these aviators asap.  They’re so classic and for this incredibly affordable price, they’re a total no-brainer. FYI…they also come with silver frames.
  7. Circle Tote: Some days, I can’t decide between a black or beige bag so I love that this option instantly solves that dilemma.  Circle bags are a huge trend for spring and I can’t get enough of them.  If I could, I would buy one in every size.  I especially like how roomy this one is plus it has a cotton lining and a convenient interior pocket.  It’s the perfect everyday summer tote!
  8. Tie Front Tee:  You can never have enough tee shirts!  They’re a classic staple that you’ll wear continuously all season.  My favorite tees are from Madewell.  They’re well-constructed, they keep their shape, and they’re reasonably priced.  I have the v-neck style in a number of colors but I’m also coveting this tie front option.  It’s so feminine and flattering.  Just thrown it on with a pair of jeans or shorts and you’re done.
