Easy Strawberry Scones + J.Crew Giveaway
Many afternoons, I find myself in the Starbucks drive-through craving that second cup of coffee and one of their mini vanilla scones. ( If you haven’t tried one, you’re seriously missing out. ) But, the other day, I opted to skip the drive-through and decided to whip up this homemade version of strawberry scones instead. All I can say is, they were so easy to make with ingredients I already had in my cabinet and since I had twenty minutes to kill before the kids got off the bus, I figured these would be the perfect fuss free treat. I chose not to add the sprinkling of sugar on top because they are pretty sweet to begin with but I did enjoy mine with a soothing cup of chamomile tea and a few golden moments of silence.

These look SO good! And I love that they were made with fresh strawberries! They’re in season here and I’m trying to find more ways to use them! And it’s so much better than waiting in a Starbucks drive-thru!

These look so good, I may have to stop and pick one up on my way to work as I will undoubtedly be thinking about them all day now. I’ll also need to give this recipe a try. I have a cookbook full of them and always end up shouting something about the amount of liquid being a lie. It’s always so little, how is that supposed to work?!
