Orange Crush

It may be September but so far, it’s been pretty steamy here in the New York metropolitan area.  As much as I’m a little over my flip flops and tank tops, the past few days have been scorchers so the idea of a chunky sweater or any form of a boot is completely unappealing.  Although we may not be able to put our fall wear to use just yet, one way to transition from Summer to Autumn is to swap out our straw or canvas totes for a polished ,structured one instead. I don’t know about you but I’m currently crushing on all things orange.  A bright orange tote, clutch or satchel immediately elevates any look.  One of my favorite combos is orange and leopard.  I’ve had my eye on this pair of pointy toe flats for some time…aren’t they so chic?  Speaking of flats, be sure to check out my latest article for CGC Daily where I talk about my picks for the best Fall flats.  And don’t forget to follow along on my Instagram this weekend as I head back into the city for some more fun events for New York Fashion Week.  I had such a great time at the Brand Assembly runway show at Lord & Taylor last night.  There were some beautiful creations by some incredibly talented up and coming designers.  Of course, the best part was sipping wine and browsing through the shoe department afterwards.  Does it get any better than that??  I hope you have a fantastic weekend!
