Summer Shift Dress

This past weekend was incredibly hot and sticky so something light, airy and breathable was an absolute must!  When I bought this jacquard shift dress from Old Navy a few weeks ago, I was initially unsure about its’ loose shape but after I loaned it to my daughter and saw how cute it looked on her, I began to have second thoughts.  She paired it with a straw fedora and t-strap black sandals and received numerous compliments.  So, when we were heading out to a family get together, I knew this would be the perfect piece to keep things cool, comfortable and polished.  I also think it would look great coupled with these wedges and this clutch for dinner and drinks.  On a separate note, I’ve been embracing my natural waves lately in lieu of blow drying my hair (which, may I say, is quite the process) and I found this very affordable sea salt texturizing spray which has worked wonders!  I’m kind of digging the straight from the beach look, especially with a faux glow (which I’ll be discussing later this week).
