Wine and Cheese Pairings

One of my favorite ways to unwind  at the end of the day is to pour a glass of wine and pair it with some seasonal fruit and cheese.  I don’t think I’ve met a cheese I didn’t like (seriously, I cannot think of one) so I’m always looking for excuses to infuse it into a pre-dinner scenario.  While I love a crisp, cold glass of white during the warmer months, I’m looking forward to mixing it up with my go-to reds now that fall is around the corner.  To me, there’s nothing cozier than curling up next to the fire (love our outdoor fire pit) with a soothing glass of red, a delicious assortment of cheese and good company.  Tell me…what’s your ideal wine and cheese pairing?
